In Memoriam

Jonah's great grandpa and middle-namesake, Richard Kruis passed away on April 14th 2008, one month short of his 91st birthday. We were able to travel to New Mexico for the funeral, which took place one month after Jonah's 1st birthday. Jonah is a part of an incredible legacy left by a great man. We are thankful for Great Grandpa Kruis' life well lived.




Grandpa Rick just got back from Africa, so Jonah got to sit on a Ghanean chair and beat the drum.



He had lots of fun meeting many of his dad's aunts, uncles and cousins for the first time. It was a very special time of celebration.
